Dr. Steven Wentz, PT is committed to helping patients achieve their goals through evidence-based, compassionate, and individualized care. A physical therapist and healthcare leader with more than 14 years of clinical and leadership experience, he serves as a Partner at Areté Health PT, where he is dedicated to advancing clinical excellence and delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

His clinical interests include orthopedics, pediatrics, neurological rehabilitation, and sports performance, including 2.5 years working at an Olympic training facility. These diverse experiences have shaped his philosophy that empowered patients, strong accountability, and mission-driven service create lasting impact and lead to better outcomes.

Beyond clinical practice, Steven serves in leadership roles with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) at both the state and federal levels. He previously served as Treasurer of the APTA PT Fund, Chair for Advanced Privileging within APTA Federal's Primary Care Special Interest Group, and currently serves as a Federal Affairs Liaison for North Carolina. He has also served as an Affiliate Professor at Wheeling Jesuit University, leading international service-learning and clinical education initiatives, and is a published author on primary care physical therapy, contributing a chapter to The Student Physiotherapist's Companion: A Case-Based Test of Your Knowledge Guide.

Outside the clinic, Steven is a devoted husband and father of three. He enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, photography, spending time at the beach, and collecting an endless supply of seemingly useless trivia. He has a lifelong passion for learning, teaching, and helping others grow.
